AVOID BROOKLINE AVE, BOYLSTON ST AND PARK DR – SAT. JUNE 11 – 7AM TO ABOUT 1 PM
On Saturday, June 11, the traffic signals at the intersection of Brookline Avenue, Boylston Street, and Park Drive will be temporarily flashing or shut-down in order to activate the new traffic control cabinet for this intersection.

US Army Corps Report – Phase 1 Construction Activities Next 90 Days – May 2016
A lot has happened since the last update in March. The existing Riverway Intake Structure has been removed and the new Riverway Culvert Wing Wall is its place.

UPDATED – Final Paving for Muddy River Phase 1 Construction Project to begin on June 7
On Tuesday, June 7, temporary night-time work will begin on the roadways in the immediate area of the project. The work will be the final pavement course installation of the roadways in the project area. In order to not impact vehicular traffic flow during the day, this temporary night-time work is necessary.

Brookline Avenue Southside Sidewalk Detour to take place May 9
There will be an upcoming Avenue Louis Pasteur detour that is necessary for the Muddy River project. This detour is being performed so that we can remove the temporary diversion pipes that were installed about a year ago in the Park Drive roadway, near Avenue Louis Pasteur bridge. Vehicular traffic will be detoured to Boylston Street and Kilmarnock Street for those who want to be traveling on Park Drive.

Avenue Louis Pasteur Detour to take place on March 12
There will be an upcoming Avenue Louis Pasteur detour that is necessary for the Muddy River project. This detour is being performed so that we can remove the temporary diversion pipes that were installed about a year ago in the Park Drive roadway, near Avenue Louis Pasteur bridge. Vehicular traffic will be detoured to Boylston Street and Kilmarnock Street for those who want to be traveling on Park Drive.

Night-time work on Brookline Avenue Inbound due to Muddy River project beginning February 1
The night-time work will be performed in order to avoid impact to vehicular traffic flow during the day. The night-time work will begin on February 1 and will be between 7pm to 5am. The duration of this night-time work is expected to take 3 weeks. A police detail will be onsite for the duration of the night time work.

US Army Corps Report – Phase 1 Construction Activities Next 90 Days – December 2015
The major project components involve the installation of a 10-foot by 24-foot box culvert under the Riverway roadway, the installation of 10-foot by 24-foot box culvert under the Brookline Avenue roadway, daylighting of the area between the Riverway and Brookline Avenue, and daylighting of the area between Brookline Avenue and Avenue Louis Pasteur.

Muddy River Phase 1 Construction – Traffic Change – December 5, 2015
On Saturday, December 5, another traffic shift will occur so that we can open the end state new left turn onto Park Drive from Riverway to vehicular traffic and open the end state crosswalks for pedestrian use. In addition, the Jug Handle roadway and its sidewalk will be removed permanently for vehicular and pedestrian traffic flow. As a result of this permanent closure, vehicular traffic will now be allowed to take a left turn onto Park Drive for those traveling on Brookline Avenue Inbound.

Night-time work begins at Park Drive and Riverway roadway due to Muddy River project beginning November 12
On Thursday, November 12, temporary night-time work will begin on Park Drive as it intersects with Riverway; and on Riverway roadway outbound in order to install the new drainage lines.
