What's Happening Now

Welcome to the Justine Mee Liff Park in Autumn

Horticulturist and MMOC member Freddie Veikley keeps a watchful eye on landscaping progress at Liff Park, site of the Muddy River Restoration Project’s Phase I daylighting and river reclamation work. Her photos of the vividly blooming plantings highlight the impacts of the Restoration Project. She notes, “The sturdy goldenrod is drought- and salt-tolerant, which makes it a good plant for filling in natural edges and slopes. It’s also a great pollinator and insect attraction.”

Freddie’s photos capture the brilliant seasonal colors at the Muddy River’s newest park.
