Congrats to Charlesgate Farmers Market for its inaugural event on Sunday, June 22, held under the Bowker Overpass. It was great to see a new community event with good food and wares, lively music, and positive neighborhood energy hosted along the Muddy River.
(This writer was particularly enamored of Petra’s muhammara dip and the baked goodies sold by Maple & Maine Pastry Kitchen, but there were lots of other interesting things to choose from!)
All are encouraged to attend future farmer’s markets, scheduled every Sunday from 11am-2pm through October 13.
