With the completion of the historic Muddy River Restoration Project in sight, we are grateful for the community advocates and friends groups who came together in the 1970s and 80s to restore one of Frederick Law Olmsted’s most significant historic landscapes, the Emerald Necklace. This federal, state, city and town collaboration is a model of environmental stewardship.
Thanks as well to the many friends of Our Muddy who share their beautiful photographs in every season. Michele Parker writes: “I’m glad to be part of bringing the beauty of our amazing parks to others.” Thank you, Michele!
