Coming Up: The 19th Annual Muddy River Symposium

The Colleges of the Fenway Center for Sustainability and the Environment and the Muddy River Restoration Project Maintenance and Management Oversight Committee (MMOC) present the 19th ANNUAL MUDDY RIVER SYMPOSIUM. This year’s session will feature a timely talk from John Rogers, Associate Director for Energy Analytics, Union of Concerned Scientists.

Environmental Policy Progress in Uncertain Times

Moving environmental policy forward can be challenging even in normal times, and these are not normal times. How do we, as students and academics, as community allies and advocates, help make policy progress a reality in the environmental space, given the tremendous need for accelerated action in key areas of the economy and our lives—and given the challenges of the current political environment? John Rogers will draw on his experience working on climate change and clean energy, under different administrations and a range of economic and political conditions, to offer insights and opportunities for making a difference.
